Longs, SC (December 17, 2009)…Kyle Bradley (North Augusta, SC) carded a final round seven under par 65 to win the NGA/Hooters Carolina Winter Series event at Black Bear Golf Club. Bradley, 29, posted rounds of 70-71-65 to finish at ten under par 206 giving the former College of Charleston golfer a one stroke victory over early round leader Brian Bergstol (Mt. Bethel, PA) who finished at nine under par 207.
Jimmy Brandt (Auburn, AL) finished in solo 3rd position at six under par 210 while a group of three golfers finished at three under par 213 and will share 4th place. This group includes Jean Paul Longueil (North Plainfield, NJ), Paul Brown (Hartsville, SC) and Michael Gordy (Clarkesville, GA).
Bradley takes home $3,650 for the win while Bergstol receives $1,825 for his solo runner up finish.
The Top 5 members on the 2009 Carolina Winter Series money list leaders will earn full exempt status on the 2010 NGA/Hooters Tour Pro Series.
Next up, The Carolina Winter Series travels to Tidewater Golf Club in North Myrtle Beach, SC for the seventh event in the series of twelve.
