Orlando, FL (November 19, 2009)…With a tap in par putt on the fourth playoff hole Thursday, Jason Dillard (Cullman, AL) held off Kevin Hall (Cincinnati, OH) and Rodney Butcher (New Port Richey, FL) to win his first event of the season at The Hooters Tour’s Bridgestone Winter Series over the 6,820 yard, par 72 Stoneybrook East Golf Club.The thirty-one year old golfer carded rounds of 67-64-69 for a three day total of sixteen-under par 200, while Hall carded rounds of 64-69-67 and Butcher carded rounds of 68-67-65 to join Dillard in the playoff.
Dillard takes home $12,368 for his victory, while Hall and Butcher take home $5,621 for their runner-up finishes.
Joe Affrunti continues his lead of the member’s money list with over $16,300 in earnings. The top 10 members at season’s end will earn full exempt status for the 2010 Hooters Pro Series with their membership fee waived.
The Bridgestone Winter Series travels to Lake Mary’s Timacuan Golf Club in two weeks for week 6 of the season with action starting Tuesday, December 1, 2009 and ending on Thursday, December 3, 2009.
