The Bridgestone Winter Series-Week Four

Deer Island, FL (November 12, 2009)…Luke List (Nashville, TN) carded a four-under par 68 Thursday in the final round of The Hooters Tour’s Bridgestone Winter Series over the 7,029 yard, par 72 Deer Island golf club to garner his first Hooters Tour victory. (Pictured Left: Champion Luke List)The twenty-four year old carded rounds of 68-66-68 for a three day total of fourteen-under par 202 and a one stroke victory over Drew Lethem (Overland Park, KS).Both List and Lethem started the day one stroke behind Ted Potter but Lethem only managed a three-under 69 in windy cold conditions Thursday.
List, a former Vanderbilt Commodore, takes home $12,179 for his victory, while Lethem takes home $6,042 for his first runner-up finish.
Joe Affrunti continues his lead of the member’s money list with over $16,300 in earnings. The top 10 members at season’s end will earn full exempt status for the 2010 Hooters Pro Series with their membership fee waived.
The Bridgestone Winter Series travels to Stoneybrook East Golf Club next week for week 4 of the season with action starting Tuesday, November 17, 2009.
