Calabash, NC (August 17, 2009)…Josh Clark (Simpsonville, SC) carded a five-under par 67 in the final round Thursday to capture the thirteenth event of the Hooters Carolina Series over the 7242 yard par 72 Farmstead Golf Links.
 
Clark, a graduate of Clemson University, carded rounds of 66-70-67 for a three day total of thirteen-under par 203 and a one stroke victory over Andrew Tschudin (Australia). Tschudin closed with four-under par 68 which included a birdie at the par 6, 767 yard 18th hole but was outdone by Clark’s fifteen foot eagle putt on the same hole.
 
Ryan Tyndall (Murrells Inlet) headed up the local contingent after carding a two-under par 70 to finish T-3rd at ten-under par 206 while other local standout Tony Parrish (North Myrtle Beach) finished T-6th at six-under par 210 after closing with a four-under par 68.
 
Clark collects $3850 for his first Carolina Series win, while Tschudin takes home $1900 for his runner up finish.
 
The Hooters Carolina Series heads to Warrior Golf Club in China Grove, NC for week fourteen of the series with action starting on Tuesday September 15 and ending up on Thursday September 17.
