Lake Mary, FL (November 29, 2007)…Yong Joo (Orlando, FL) carded an even par 71 in the final round of The Hooters Tour’s Bridgestone Winter Series over the 7015 yard, par 71 Timacuan Golf Club to garner his first Hooters Tour victory.
Joo fired rounds of 68-65-71 for a three day total of nine-under par 204 and a three two stroke victory over Jeff Corr (Longwood, FL) and Hank Kim (Jonesboro, GA). Corr and Kim finished at seven-under par with scores of 70 and 66 respectively.
Joo takes home $12,000 for his first win, while Corr and Kim take home $5,468 for their runner-up finishes. With his second place finish, Corr increases his money total to $33,475 through four events.
The Bridgestone Winter Series heads back to StoneGate Golf Club and the Cypress course next week.
