Myrtle Beach, SC (September 24, 2007)…After another exciting year on the links that saw purses rise from $143,000 to $200,000, the NGA Hooters Tour announces more exciting news. In the past few years the Hooters Tour has paid for the Top Three Points Leaders at season’s end to go to PGA TOUR School but after a successful 2007 season, Hooters Tour officials announced today that the Top Five golfers on the Points Standings from season’s end will have their Q-School fees paid for 2007. Fresh off his Player of the Year honors, Casey Wittenberg heads the list and he is joined by Martin Flores, Bruce McDonald, Emmett Turner, and Gareth Maybin. Congratulations to these five golfers as they try to make their dream of playing on the PGA TOUR a reality.
