Bolli All But Locks Up '08 PGA Tour Card

Former Hooters Tour Member Wins Northeast Pennsylvania Classic

Moosic, PA (August 12, 2007)…Another week on the Nationwide Tour another victory by a former Hooters Tour member. Justin Bolli, who started five strokes behind the leader, birdied two of his final three holes for his second career Nationwide Tour title.

Bolli, a former walk-on at the University of Georgia, carded rounds of 68-67-69-66 for a four day total of fourteen-under par 270 and a one stroke victory over Richard Johnson and Patrick Sheehan.

"I feel for Richard because I've certainly been there before. You have to feel for the guy, but at the same time I played well today," Bolli said. "Richard is a very good player and it's only a matter of time before he gets a victory of his own this year."

With the victory, Bolli’s $90,000 first-place check moves him from 17th to 6th on the Nationwide’s money list with nearly $250,000 in earnings. Currently 6th on the money list, Bolli has secured his spot in the season ending Top 25 and a guaranteed spot on the PGA Tour next season.

"It's a good feeling. Last year, I was pretty close and didn't play well towards the end of the year. I wasn't quite ready for the PGA TOUR the last time, but I'm excited to get back to that level. That's why we are all out here, to perform on the PGA TOUR," Bolli said. "It's very difficult to earn your PGA TOUR card out here. You've got to play well all season. Even if you win, you have to have several other good weeks. The competition is so tough, you have to be consistent."

Bolli was a member of the Hooters Tour from 2000-2003 collecting three wins, most recently during the 2003 season where he won the President’s Broadwater Casino Classic.
